My proprietary framework, the 7-T PROCESS™, has been developed over 40 years advising thousands of high-net-worth clients. It places tax strategy at the very center to ensure every piece of your financial puzzle works in tandem for maximum effectiveness and resilience—so you gain clarity, confidence, and tangible results that extend well beyond your portfolio.

The 7-T Process™

01

Tax Loss Harvesting

We sell positions that have declined in value to realize losses that can offset realized gains, potentially reducing your taxable income while keeping your portfolio aligned with your objectives.

02

Tax Free

Strategies such as step-up basis at death, Roth conversions, municipal bonds, and cash-value life insurance are designed to help you retain more of your investment growth.

03

Tax Location

We place tax-efficient assets (e.g., index funds, municipal bonds, direct-indexed portfolios) in taxable accounts and allocate tax-inefficient holdings (e.g., hedge funds, high-turnover strategies, private credit) to tax-deferred accounts, with the goal of enhancing your after-tax returns.

04

Tax Efficient

Using separately managed accounts, direct indexing, and low-turnover ETFs, we seek to capture market upside while minimizing the impact of your annual taxes.

05

Tax Deferred

We allocate growth-oriented vehicles such as indexed strategies, cash-value life insurance, exchange funds, and opportunity-zone investments to retirement or other tax-deferred accounts, allowing earnings to compound without current tax liability.

06

Tax Deductible

Charitable contributions through donor-advised funds, and contributions to IRAs, 401(k)s, pension plans, and HSAs can provide tax deductions.

07

Tax Conversion

By applying depreciation and amortization methods and, where appropriate, converting traditional IRAs to Roth IRAs, we aim to shift income from higher-taxed ordinary categories to potentially lower-taxed long-term capital gains.
